A sister company to its French counterpart, TRONICO ATLAS was set up in 2004 in the Tangiers free trade zone. The company covers an area of 10,000 square metres and employs an average of 250 people, including operators, technicians, engineers and other highly skilled professionals, serving the aerospace, energy, medical and military markets. Accustomed to meeting the most exacting requirements, the Moroccan company is able to seize opportunities in highly reliable sectors and win recognition on the international stage.

Since 2004, TRONICO has been consolidating the development and reputation of its Moroccan site to support the world’s leading industrial companies (aerospace, energy, medical, etc.).

To meet the tremendous growth potential of its markets, TRONICO is continuing to expand the manufacturing capacity of its Moroccan site (recruitment of cutting-edge technical skills, Nadcap certification, major investments, extended production area, etc.) in build to print and build to spec.

• Warehouse (storage of raw materials > 18,000 references / 32,500 batches)

• SMD line: 2 screen printers, 2 dual-head robots, 1 nitrogen reflow oven
• Board wiring workshop (bending cutting, through-hole component wiring, rework inspection, finishing)
• Wave and mini-wave: SN/Pb (63/37) soldering, lead-free soldering, soldering and desoldering of printed circuits and connectors
• Wire workshop (wrapping, mechanical assembly and integration, harnesses)
• VIGON cleaning, ion contamination testing
• burn-in, thermal shock
• Dedicated standard baking, storage in a dry cabinet, with temperature and humidity control
• Manual gluing and tinning of components
• Crimping, riveting, pneumatic or mechanical assembly
• TAKAYA mobile probe test
• Tropicalisation varnish (silicone or acrylic)

• A dedicated Industrial and Commercial Plan (ICP) and Master Production Plan (MPP)
• A “best in class” production site: EN9100 & NADCAP with all support services including a DT
• An ERP shared with TRONICO France for real-time adjustments
• A dedicated procurement department
• A tried and tested “downstream” logistics chain with a hub at TRONICO France and 2 shuttles per week coupled with DHL express deliveries
• Products managed in KANBAN
• We have been managing our orders using Air Supply for many years.
• A practice of “local to local”, with certain principals (SAFRAN), for example, for many years.
• An “upstream” supply chain with point-to-point deliveries without going through any hubs.

An R&D centre of excellence for test solutions and power electronics

TRONICO Atlas is the first site in Africa to be awarded the NADCAP MERIT STATUS certificate. What’s more, it is a design office with around 20 engineers working in 2 areas: power electronics and test benches, in close collaboration with the French R&D department.

With strong potential for increasing capacity, our teams are capable of :

• Design and build turnkey test benches based on customer specifications.
• Design and build isolated DC/DC converters for various HV-HV or HV-LV voltage ranges.
• Software development of man-machine interfaces
• Design of in-house customer products or collaborative projects (artificial respirator, LORA connected energy meters, electric scooter charger, etc.).
